Build and ship real-world AI systems across LLMs, RAG, agents, automation, and production infrastructure.
Forge & Wield is looking for interns who want to learn AI engineering by building real systems that are meant to ship.
This is not an internship centred around tutorial notebooks or certificate-style projects. You’ll contribute to AI products, automations and production-facing systems while learning the modern applied-AI stack along the way.
You are not expected to know everything before joining.
Bring the fundamentals, curiosity, consistency and the willingness to figure things out.
Someone early in their engineering journey who wants real exposure to how modern AI systems are designed, built, deployed and operated.
You don’t need an impressive collection of certificates.
You do need curiosity, consistency, willingness to learn quickly and a genuine desire to build things that people can actually use.
We strongly encourage AI-assisted development.
Use AI tools to move faster, explore solutions and reduce repetitive work — but take ownership of what you ship.
Blind vibe coding is not how we work.
If AI generates code for you, you should review it, understand the logic, be able to explain what it does and know how to debug it when something breaks.
The code may be written at the speed of light. Ownership cannot be outsourced.
